Pee Wee Hockey Stud...
Check out this little guy's move. Poor goalie had no clue what to do. They show the move from a bunch of different angles and the reaction of the goalie is priceless.
The kid who makes the goal is 9 years old and playing in a 12-year old league. Must be good.

Goodbye Metrodome...

The final Twins baseball game will be held in the Metrodome in the coming weeks, (notice I say weeks, because I see a playoff run coming) as next year the Twins move into their new stadium, Target Field. Although my friends and I called it the SnoozerDome, because it seemed by the 3rd inning of every game a wave of sleepiness overtook you, I loved to watch my Twins play ball here. Here are a few memories:
1. I remember '87 and '91 when the Twins won the World Series, including Game 6 in 1991 when Kirby got the job done..."and we will see you tomorrow night!"
2. There was nothing better than the sound of pouring rain on the roof and nothing worse than sitting inside when it was sunny and 75 degrees outside.
3. How about the greatest mascot in baseball, TC Bear, as he fired t-shirts out of his air cannon and drove around the warning track on his 4-wheeler. Love ya TC.
4. Ryesetter, you remember the HR ball I missed from Daryl Strawberry up in the right field Upper Deck and how we watched it bounce back down onto the field. Dang it, I can't believe I missed that!!!
5. Opening Day 2006, sitting with my fellow Twins fan Peter Erickson, and watching Shannon Stewert hit a halk-off HR.
6. TwinsFest!!! Once again, with my fellow Twins fan Peter Erickson, and almost killing myself as I slipped on the steps walking onto the field. Seriously everyone, I almost died.
7. The Metrodome men's bathrooms...enough said.
8. $10 lower deck outfield seats...can't beat it
9. Dome Dogs. Everytime I ate one I felt horrible for the next 24 hours, but I just couldn't resist getting one each time I went to a game. Susi, anything to add here?
10. 1982...my first game at the Metrodome against the Red Sox...that's where it all started.
Thanks for the memories Metrodome.

Greatest Basketball Shot Ever?
The question is whether or not it is real. I must admit it looks real to me. The ball never leaves the frame. Here are two views of it. What do you think?

This doesn't help those that believe in global warming...
It's September 21 and it's snowing in Wyoming and Colorado already. Click here to read more about it.
Hardcore Fan...
This guy, well, he is pretty upset over Clemson's loss to Georgia Tech. The running commentary by Chris Fowler, Craig James and Jesse Palmer of ESPN is great.

Amazing...
This was an amazing play to end the Broncos-Bengals game yesterday. However, what makes it even better is that the one and only Gus Johnson was doing play by play.
