Finally...

As a Minnesota Twins fan, I have suffered watching many many games in the Metrodome. However, all of that will change very soon. Target Field, you are a thing of beauty.

Valerie's 30th Birthday Weekend...

I took my beautiful pregnant wife on a little weekend getaway to celebrate her 30th birthday. ON saturday we went to a little town SW of Dallas called Granbury. There is a neat town square with shops and little places to eat. So we spent the afternoon walking around. After that, we went to Glen Rose where I had reserved us a room at a little B&B called "Inn on the River." It was great. Below are some pictures from there.

We spent a lot of time sitting in the chairs overlooking the river. Very peaceful and relaxing.

There were these 3 HUGE Oak trees on the property. They were amazing and provided a ton of shade to sit under while enjoying the river. Well, after taking this picture, we walked around the other side of the trees...

If you are ever looking for a nice little getaway, I definitely recommend this place. Happy Birthday Babe!!
