Hurricane Dean

As many of you have heard, Hurricane Dean (now a Category 4) is ripping its way through the Carribean and heading towards the Gulf of Mexico and then to who knows where. It's amazing how your view of a hurricane changes when you live in a state that can be impacted greatly by one and when you work for an organization (The Salvation Army) that dives right in to relief efforts. If Hurricane Dean hits the Texas coast, both Valerie and I are going to most likely be sent down there to help in the relief efforts, which will be a first for both of us. I'll keep you posted.
