Barry Obama has already begun plans for a huge election night party in Chicago, most likely in Grant Park.

I can only hope that this is similar to a few years ago when the Dallas Mavericks went up 2-0 in the NBA finals and the Mayor here in Dallas, proceeded to annouce the downtown Victory Parade route to the city.
Dallas promptly lost the next 4 games.

I heard this dark joke the other day:
Obama dies and goes up to the Pearly Gates to meet St. Peter.
St. Peter asks, "Name?"
"Barack Hussein Obama, or Barry Obama, or Barry Whateverhisotherlastnamewas, etc, etc"
St. Peter asks, "So, what did you accomplish for the betterment of society?"
"... Uh ... I, I, I was a community organizer in Chicago, I served in the US Senate, and I was elected to serve as the President of the United States of America."
Raising his eyebrows when Obama said that he was elected President of the USA, St. Peter asks, "Really? When did that happen?"
Obama looks at his watch and says, "Oh, about 20 minutes ago."
So based on that joke and the election night party, it looks like Obama's last stop before St. Peter will be Grant Park.
(For the record, I'm only messing around ... you've gotta admit, despite the dark nature of the joke it is kinda funny ... plus, a Democrat Obama-supporter told it to me ...)
