It's been awhile since I updated everyone (all 2 of you that read this blog) on what I have been up to. Two words...driving and hotels. In fact, of the last 30 workdays, I have been on the road for 23 of those days. I have been training volunteers all across Texas, attending a Homeland Security/Disaster Conference, and taking part in some additional meetings. It has been incredibly busy, but productive.
However, it certainly gets old being away from my wife, my home, eating crappy food, etc. for this amount of time, but fortunately the craziness ends this week. I will be back on the road next but this time, its for vacation!!! Valerie and I are going to take another cruise which means sun, water, snorkeling, great food, and no phones or computers. Can't wait!!! I'll be sure to post some pictures when we get back.

um, excuse me... did you count me in that head count for blog readers??? I read...just don't comment much :) I'm a mysterious blog reader... people never know when I'm reading :) Hope your trip is super fun!! Look forward to hearing about it, er should I say read about it!
